Digital collage inspired by an old photo from girl's cooking class
What will teen's life be like in 2215? It's unfathomable, yet 1935 was just a little while back.
I love this photograph taken at a girl's Home Economics class at a Helsinki school. What were they making? What would they make of us?
To keep things simple, I added just two elements: The gradient rectangle shape, and a contemporary photo bank image of a teenaged dancer. (Which doesn't mean it was a quick piece to make. Took me hours and 20+ versions, if you can believe it!)
