Digital collage inspired by an actor's photo portrait from 1902
This devastating photo portrait would not leave me alone until I did something with it. The actress in this 120-year-old portrait is Maude Adams, a celebrated talent of her time.
Adam's expression here is so sad and weary, it led me to think about the wars currently raging in 2025. So I wanted to find an accompanying photo to convey a quiet plea for peace. And I found it!
