Typography series (2026)

This series was inspired by Contemporary Collage Magazine's typography-themed open call in the summer of 2026.

I had collected folders and folders of (digital) beautiful posters from late 1800's through 1930's, but had used them only occasionally before stumbling upon this prompt.

Here you can see I'm looking for my own voice, my own way to use typograph in collages, as it was a newer addition to my grammar. I adore the look and feel of old text, but also realised I wanted to keep some elements of politics in these pieces, too. Some have more of it, some less.
